Its secretary's week and she made me her partner. Free lunch, free movie and of cos free stuffs. Hoho! Btw, can you see i got my hair straight again. Well, juz for this event. The theme was Ultraviolet and you bet we geared up all white.. There's a Miss Ultraviolet but not titled to us of coz.. The winner brought home a gold pendent from Habib Jewels but the thing is, she dressing for a dinner event not high tea and lunch at all. Worst still, its purple. Well, yes violet = purple but Ultraviolet as in the movie for a theme doesn't mean anything abt color. Bernard, the promotions and advertising exec thinks the same as us but the judges.. hmm.. im not sure. To be frank I din like the whole event at Hyatt except the quizes. I won myself a namecard pewter for answering such a not-at-all challenging question as to which floor is Megapavillion located. but whatever it is, i like best the free movie. ;) in the bus heading to CS

Two totally bold stories (for our regressive standards), the subtle swipes of dialogues are all too familiar. With these stories we celebrate our diversity and hope that our cultural differences makes us stronger as a community. The difference between SEPET and GUBRA is that SEPET mainly tells one story while GUBRA has two stories — one of the continuation of Orked's life and the other of a lower class kampung style with the family of a Muslim cleric and his neighbours who were prostitutes. Yasmin did a clever job going back and forth the two stories as if it was the most natural thing in the world. The storylines of GUBRA are quite simple and can be found in a lot of everyday lives. The script has a whole lot of mixed languages like how Malaysians are prone to converse. I strongly recommend you peeps go and watch it. I watch them in cinemas.. hence u guys shud get the original cds yea.. support the malay film industry.  city leave darkness at 10:24 AM 10hrs drive with 2 stops to terengganu.. We started e journey at 10am on friday from my home and Elzam drove from Jb to pekan pahang before I took over all e way to k.terengganu. We pass Club Med, Awana Kijal, Rantau Abang.. wham! a total experience. I was driving like 4hrs non stop. my! my! Lubuk periuk where his fiance lives is an hour and a half drive fm k.terengganu the place where we put up a nite. He rented a bangalow dat can fit in 20ppl with their 10 queen bed but there only 12 of us.. i got to sleep on my own.. one big bed for myself. but worst part is I din get to do any shopping though.. but a.jalil bought lotsa kropok & d lekor for home. i din even get to spend a cent on anything. dats one of the part dat i never like abt the journey.. tot of buying sum sovenirs but hmmm... hampeh!!. overall i juz love the scenery around when driving up east and best part wen driving along the coastal. just very beautiful. we'll be going again end of this year mebbe if everything goes well wif ezam for his big day.  city leave darkness at 9:31 AM Friday, April 07, 2006

Hmm.."Tuberculosis" strikes my dad again. He's in NUH now. Aint that serious but he juz look so weak and all. And me, Im shagged. Bin visiting him str8 since Sat. Tomrrw plak gotta send mom for d trad massage at Pontian. Hmm.. But I juz hope both of them get well soon. I want them to get to see me gettin hitch which i dun even know wen.. Hmm... Aniwae it was 24Mar wen i made a came back for clubs. Met Kavitha and Julie dat nite and had dinner at Lau Pa Sat.. We then headed to Desire.. A club at Boat Quay.. small yet tantalizing glimpse of nice view.. But as usual i juz hv CokEie while they enjoy the kencing kuda.. hehe!! It was like 2.30am when we decide to head to Momo.. Big and spacious.. Good for ppl to dance their hearts out. Absolutely not a place for me. Lotsa apek and nyonya and tak kurang mamats and minahs.. :) But no doubt the overwhelming crowd actually make me stay a while longer. We left Momo close to 4 and headed to Pasir Pnjg. Had supper. There i think i met KamaL.. Ween's hubby.. He was kinda looking but im afraid i got the wrong guy. i ignore.. malu pun ader.. paham2x jerlah. Btw, Double O here i cum.. its already 6pm, gotta visit dad now.. pickin up suriya and bringing her along. And not only dat peeps, we get the chance to see people behind the theatre, how the movie were screen and believe it, people dun dare touch the stuffs but I got to hold the entire Ultraviolet films. Check this.
